Historic Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce

Idaho’s Silver Valley is located in the Bitterroot Mountains of North Idaho. It once was a thriving mining area and is now a year round outdoor recreationalists paradise.

Wallace Visitor Center

Free maps and visitor guides of Idaho and surrounding states, friendly helpful staff, a four acre park with expansive greens, covered picnic tables, and open air mining exhibit as well as free coffee, 24 your restrooms.  Among  the most accessible such facilities the entire 3,000 plus length of I-90.

Shoshone Medical Center

Shoshone Medical Center is a 25-bed, acute care hospital in Kellogg, Idaho providing critical access healthcare to the entire Silver Valley region.

Shoshone County Sheriff Department

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to the protection of all we serve. Shoshone County Fire Protection District

Protecting the communities of Osburn, Silverton, and Wallace, Idaho with fire suppression, prevention, and education. We also provide emergency medical services as paid staff are firefighters and emergency medical technicians at the basic and advanced levels. SCFD1 also relies on a base of volunteers to help serve and protect the communities.

Sewer, Water and Garbage

South Fork Sewer District

You have two sewer bills, the city in which you live and South Fork CDA River Sewer District. The city owns and maintains the sewer lines from the street to our interceptor, which carries the wastewater to our treatment plant. We treat the wastewater as well as maintain the interceptor.
